Jaskelevicus, Cote, Hamm Increase Leadership Roles at River Run, Pentucket Bank

Familiar faces at Newburyport Bank and Pentucket Bank are taking over from Jonathan H. Dowst, who previously served as chief executive officer of Pentucket Bank, co-chair of the River Run board, and president of River Run, the mutual holding company of the two banks.
As of this past Monday, Stephen Jaskelevicus was named acting chief executive officer of Pentucket Bank and Scott D. Cote was named as co-chairman of the board of River Run. Cote joins Lloyd Hamm Jr., CEO of River Run and chief executive officer of Newburyport Bank, as co-chair of the River Run Board. Hamm will also serve as acting president of River Run.
Jaskelevicus has been with Pentucket Bank since 2010, most recently serving as its executive vice president, chief credit officer. Jaskelevicus has more 35 years of banking experience that he will bring to his new role, with a focus on commercial lending, strategic planning, staff development and community involvement.
“Steve brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission, ensuring a seamless transition as we continue to focus on Pentucket Bank’s and the mutual holding company’s goals,” Hamm said in a Tuesday statement.
Hamm added, “Jon Dowst was instrumental in the successful merger of Newburyport Bank and Pentucket Bank under the newly-formed River Run Bancorp, MHC. We are grateful for his leadership, innovation and dedication during a critical period of our company’s growth. We are incredibly thankful for all of Jon’s contributions.” He continued, “His efforts were pivotal in uniting our organizations and setting a strong foundation for the future.”
Cote retired as chief executive officer of Pentucket Bank in 2021 and currently serves as the chairman of the Pentucket Bank board of directors.

River Run Bancorp, MHC, and Newburyport Bank recently announced the appointment of Kayla Brown to the concurrent role of assistant vice president and executive assistant.
She is responsible for representing the chief executive officer by welcoming visitors, reviewing correspondence, assisting the clerk with corporator and director meetings and other corporate functions, and answering questions and meeting requests directed to the CEO.
In addition, she manages donation recommendations and communication and provides executive support to additional members of the executive team as requested.
Brown has been with the organization for three years, beginning her career at Newburyport Bank as a relationship banker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Fisher College.

In this capacity, Buccieri assumes overall management of all residential and consumer lending departments, including various origination channels supporting both Newburyport Bank and Pentucket Bank.
In addition, she is responsible for the development of loan programs, capitalizing on emerging opportunities derived from market trends and the optimization of lending processes supporting the strategic objectives of each bank.
With more than three decades of experience in the financial services sector, Buccieri brings a wealth of expertise to her new role, previously serving as senior vice president of residential and consumer lending at Newburyport Bank.
Beyond her professional endeavors, the Atkinson, N.H., resident is actively engaged in community service with Emmaus House and Habitat for Humanity. In addition, she serves on the board of directors for the YWCA of Greater Newburyport.

In this capacity, Mr. Glosner assumes overall ownership of technology within the organization. His responsibilities include keeping abreast of emerging technologies, spearheading their selection and integration, formulating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards, devising strategies aligned with company-wide objectives, with a particular emphasis on data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and process enhancement. Furthermore, Mr. Glosner leads the development and execution of the Information Security Program, as well as managing technology personnel and budgets.
With over three decades of experience in the financial services sector, Mr. Glosner brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Pentucket Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, he boasts several professional certifications from institutions such as MIT and Carnegie Mellon University.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Glosner is actively engaged in community service, serving on the Board of Directors for HC Media. He resides in Auburn, NH, with his family.

In her new capacity, Ms. Wilson assumes responsibility for spearheading organizational efficiency, streamlining processes, and nurturing a culture of continuous enhancement. Her duties encompass crafting and executing holistic strategies for operational excellence, strategies that align with the company’s overarching objectives. This entails pinpointing avenues for process refinement, cost minimization, and operational efficacy enhancements across all facets of the business. Furthermore, she will be instrumental in instituting key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to gauge operational efficacy and monitor advancement toward strategic milestones.
Ms. Wilson, drawing upon more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector, brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Her academic background includes a BA from Bethel University, Massachusetts School of Financial Studies, and New England College of Business and Finance. She most recently held the position of SVP & Chief Experience Officer at Pentucket Bank. She serves on the Board of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and the Psychological Center. Additionally, she is a member of the Massachusetts Bankers Association Educational Committee and the Society for Human Resources Management. She resides with her family in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Pentucket Bank has announced the promotion of Karl Denu to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In that role he manages staff and activities of Finance and assumes responsibility for directing Accounting and Financial Reporting. In addition, Mr. Denu is responsible for keeping the CEO and President informed of major operational developments, consulting with them regarding major decisions affecting the Bank, overseeing management of the Bank's investment portfolio, and making financial and other presentations to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Mr. Denu has over 22 years of banking experience most recently as Senior Vice President and CFO at Pentucket Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Mr. Thompson has almost forty years of banking experience most recently as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Newburyport Bank, where he continues to hold this role. He holds a BA from Rider University. He is also active in the community in several roles including as a member of the Exeter Hospital United in Wellness Advancement Committee. He resides with his family in Newfields, NH.

Mr. Felter has over forty years of banking experience most recently as Senior Executive Vice President and CFO at Newburyport Bank. He holds a BS in Accountancy from Bentley University and is also a CPA. He is also active in the community currently serving on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Finance Committee of Anna Jaques Hospital, and as Past Director and Past President of Greater Lawrence Kiwanis.
