Lloyd L. Hamm, CEO of River Run is pleased to announce that Attorney Charles Palmisano has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Legal Counsel Executive. Palmisano will assume the role previously held by Terrance McGinnis, who will retire in 2025.
Palmisano (Charlie) brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate law, representing lenders, buyers, and sellers in the financing, acquisition, and sale of properties across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Over the course of his career, he has personally overseen thousands of residential and commercial closings in the region.
Charlie has served on the Board of Directors of Newburyport Bank, a position he has stepped down from in order to take on his new role with River Run. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Newburyport Planning Board and a member of the Newburyport Chamber of Commerce’s EDAC committee. He is also frequently sought after as a guest lecturer for realtor groups and the Newburyport Adult Education, program sharing his deep experience with industry professionals.

A graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a B.S. in Economics, Palmisano went on to earn his law degree from New England School of Law. He has extensive experience guiding individuals, corporations, and real estate investors through purchases, sales, and financing of residential homes, condominiums, multi-family buildings, commercial properties and small businesses.
One of Charlie’s most cherished accomplishments is being honored with the opportunity to place a plaque before the Flag at the Coast Guard Station Merrimack River, inscribed with a poem he wrote in reverence to our nation’s Flag. Palmisano lives in Newburyport, Massachusetts with his family.
