All
in Sync! PersonalTM
is an exciting new productivity tool for Lotus Notes users
Greenwich, CT September 21, 1998: River Run Software Group®
Inc., the industry leader in mobile computing enterprise access, today
announced All in Sync! Personal, a powerful productivity
tool for Lotus Notes users who want to synchronize their Microsoft
Windows CE-based PC Companions with their desktops. This new software
enables users to carry their Lotus Notes mail, calendar, address books,
to-do lists and events with them wherever they go,and still keep everything
in sync with the desktop.
By expanding its popular enterprise access product family with a personal
version which can be immediately operational without any dependency
on the IS/IT organization, All in Sync! Personal makes it
even easier for Lotus Notes users with PC Companions to be instantly
productive. As soon as the mobile device is connected to the cradle,
All in Sync! Personal automatically begins synchronizing
the local mail, calendar, tasks, and contacts databases on the PC
Companion with the corresponding data stored in Notes databases. Users
also have the flexibility of customizing the range of data that is
synchronized as well as the rules for resolving conflicts.
One
of the unique functions of All in Sync! Personal is its support
of mail attachments, enabling the user to seamlessly transfer selected
documents and spreadsheets. Another unique feature of the software
is that when the user is away from his office, he can also remotely
synchronize his PC Companion with his desktop Notes data over landline
and wireless networks as well as the Internet.
"We are very excited about the All in Sync! Personal product,"
said Dr. Trilok Manocha, President of River Run Software Group. "This
new software represents River Run's special focus on making it easy
for Lotus Notes users to integrate PC Companions into their daily
use, and reinforces our commitment to responding to the needs of Lotus
Notes users in a timely and effective manner."
The product will be available for users in the month of October.
