RIVER RUN SOFTWARE GROUP SIGNS AN INDEPENDENT SOFTWARE VENDOR AGREEMENT WITH IBM

Stamford, CT, July 27, 2001 - River Run Software Group signed an Independent Software Vendor agreement with IBM in June 2001. The intent of the agreement is for River Run to develop and integrate IBM WebSphere** Everyplace Server (WES) into its mobile application solutions, and then to influence the sales of WES when River Run sells the solutions to customers.

River Run Software Group provides end-to-end, innovative and proven pervasive computing solutions to deliver information anywhere and anytime. Integrating these solutions with IBM's WES middleware ensures a highly scalable, industrial-strength wireless infrastructure, and enables wireless support for any device and any network.

River Run's applications are browser-based, and designed to enhance productivity and collaboration within companies with large mobile workforces. Solutions are targeted for the Insurance (claims processing), Field Inspection and Field Service, and Healthcare markets. Core software components include automatic dispatch, notification, e-mail, PIM synchronization, web access and web clipping, and electronic forms creation and management.
For employees who are out of the office while they perform tasks or solve problems for their customers, River Run's software provides data capture and update capabilities on a mobile device as a task is being performed, and transmits the information to new or legacy systems.
