A leading Telecommunications Company
 

A multi-billion dollar U.S. telecommunications company selected a River Run solution to assign, dispatch, and manage trouble tickets for their 4,500 field service and repair technicians. Through a browser-based user interface, call center users are able to open and manage trouble tickets and then select appropriate field workers based on user-prioritized criteria such as availability, skill, geographic location, seniority, and overtime. This system also includes electronic timecards, to further streamline their business processes.


SBC Ameritech
  SBC Ameritech selected River Run, in conjuction with a manufacturer of ruggedized mobile device hardware, to provide a complete solution for remote access, data capture, and two-way data synchronization for over 1,000 field service and repair technicians. The field technicians use the system to gain remote access to a mainframe-based work force management system for troubleshooting network and line problems. The solution also provides information about customer history and work orders, the ability to capture details of the work performed onsite, and to upload and download job status for streamlined scheduling of new work orders.

Verizon
 

Verizon chose River Run to provide a mobile solution that needed to be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a nationwide force of field service and repair technicians. River Run's solution supports the field technicians in their service and maintenance of Verizon equipmnent. Technicians can view scheduled jobs, diagnose and fix problems, capture activity, receive unscheduled requests for fixing problems, and record collections data. This is sent to Verizon's back-end system. The solution also includes location-based assignment.

Connecticut Policy and Economic Council (CPEC)
  CPEC selected River Run's solution to provide a powerful field-based solution for inspection of the state's public areas within cities. This solution provides an extremely intuitive user interface and required minimal training for the end users. The solution has increased CPEC's productivity by reducing field data collection costs while increasing the data accuracy by broad use of check boxes, dropdown lists, and similar tools.
